1) The 20th anniversary of Doggy Style. The classic album that came out November 23, 1993 (feel old yet?), shaped the career of iconic rapper. I don't know if he's going by Snoop Dogg or Lion or Dragon or whatever now a days, he's an interview worth checking out. Snoop and my boo, Kendrick Lamar discussing the impact that the album has had on their lives.
2) Britney Spears has her new album, Britney Jean streaming for free on iTunes this week. Instead of releasing the album to greedily collect that thanksgiving weekend money, she's giving us the best gift of her awesome pop music all up in your ears. Don't forget to purchase it December 3rd!
3) Where there is tragedy, there is a benefit album. Songs for the Philippines, now available to purchase and stream on iTunes with proceeds going to the Red Cross. 39 tracks of everyone you could imagine. The Beatles to Enimen to Lily Allen to the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Earth, Wind and Fire, just to name a few. This album truly has something on it for everyone.
4) The UN names Macklemore an "Equality Campion". Now I'm not a big Macklemore fan. I have not listened to his album, but all his singles are so god awful to me I don't really have an interest in checking it out, but to be named anything by the UN is a big deal, and because it's such a good cause, it's definitely worth mentioning. So you go, Glen Coco! Kudos to you, Macklemore!

5) All things Dave Grohl! My dirty man crush is on top of the world this week. Presenting the best alternative rock artist award with Joan Jett at the AMA's, also an AMA performance with the Zac Brown Band as well as their collaborative release of the Grohl Session Vol 1 on iTunes December 10th. Even better, he announced the the Foo Fighters will be back in the studio before theyear's end. Pretty exciting!
